Book Review: “Divergent”

Divergent by Veronica Roth (2011, Katherine Tegen Books)

Divergent is dark, desperate, thrilling, and interesting. It falls into that catergory of dystopian YA that’s so popular lately but approaches it in a fresh way. But make no mistake, it’s dark- literally and figuratively. And I don’t expect the next two books to lighten up much. Who cares, I loved the story and the main character, Tris, is fantastically realized.
